Field Hockey Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

Eagles set to host nine games on home turf
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College field hockey announced its 17-game schedule for the 2026 regular season, featuring matchups against Maryland and Northwestern, as well as the always-formidable ACC slate.
BC will play two road scrimmages prior to the start of the season, at UMass on Aug. 13 and UConn on Aug. 22.
The Eagles will play nine of their games at home, beginning with the season opener against Providence on Aug. 28. BC faces UAlbany two days later before hosting the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge, featuring Duke, Northwestern, and Maryland. The Eagles will face Maryland on Sept. 4, followed by a Sunday home showdown against the defending national champions, Northwestern.
Boston College takes on Maine at UMass Lowell in a neutral-site matchup to begin a stretch of five straight games away from home. The Eagles travel to Harvard (Sept. 13), open ACC play at Louisville (Sept. 18), and face Ohio State (Sept. 20) and Duke (Sept. 27) to conclude the road swing.
BC returns home for a four-game homestand, starting with Wake Forest on 10/2, followed by a 10/4 matchup against Northeastern. Virginia (10/9) and Boston University (10/11) round out the home stretch.
The Eagles will face North Carolina on 10/16 in Chapel Hill before facing Cal (10/23) and Stanford (10/25) at home, then ending the regular season at Syracuse on 10/30.
