BC Falls in ACC First Round to UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Boston College field hockey team lost to the second seeded North Carolina, 4-0, on Thursday in the first round of the ACC Championships in Chapel Hill.
North Carolina out-shot BC 26-13 while the Tar Heels had 15 penalty corners to the Eagles' five.
In goal, Jonna Kennedy made 11 saves on 15 shots on goal.
Carolina scored in each period, in the eighth, 18th, 45th and 58th minutes.
The loss ends BC's fall season, as the Eagles look to continue this upcoming spring.
