Jaime Natale led the way for BC, scoring two goals and adding an assist, while Jonna Kennedy made five saves in 60 minutes of action.

Natale opened the scoring off a pass from Nell Webber 1:47 into the game before Maine would answer with five minutes left in the first period.

BC then scored three goals in 10 minutes beginning with a shot off the stick of Elizabeth Warner. Natale then returned the favor to Webber by assisting on her goal just three minutes into the second half. The run ended with Natale's second of the day in the 39th minute.

Maine then scored in the 47th minute on a rebound attempt, but BC quickly answered when Kendall Hanlon found Margo Carlin 17 seconds later to extend the lead back to three.

Maine would then go on to score with 2:49 to play, but it wasn't enough to close the lead before the final whistle blew.

The Eagles out-shot Maine 19-12 and had six penalty corners to Maine's five.

BC is back next weekend to open ACC play against Wake Forest on Saturday, March 6 at noon.
