BC Opens ACC Play at Wake Forest

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College field hockey team heads south to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to open ACC play at Wake Forest on Friday, March 5.
BC is coming off a 5-3 win over Maine to open its Spring season, where Jaime Natale led the Eagles with two goals and one assist.
BC faced Wake Forest in the fall, losing 6-2 at home. The game did come following a four-week team pause.
Leading the Eagles is Elizabeth Warner, who has six points on three goals, while Natale has two goals and one assist. Also scoring goals this year has been Margo Carlin, Nell Webber and Fusine Govaert.
Wake Forest opens its Spring season against BC, following a 3-8 fall record. The Demon Deacons had wins over BC, Duke (2-1) and Virginia (2-1). Grace Delmotte and Meike Lanckohr lead Wake with four goals and three goals and one assist, respectively.
Jonna Kennedy has started every game for BC so far this academic year with a .681 save percentage and 3.76.

BC is back at home for a pair of games at the Newton Field Hockey Complex. On Friday, March 12, New Hampshire comes to town for a 2 p.m. matchup, while Saturday, March 13 the Eagles take on Vermont at 3 p.m.
