Klein Earns Preseason All-ACC Team Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Graduate field hockey midfielder Milou Klein was selected to the All-ACC Preseason Team, as voted by the league's head coaches.
Klein joins the Eagles for her first season on the Heights after an accomplished career in the Netherlands. She attended Maerlant-Lyceum in The Hague and served as captain of the HDM national team.
Klein has also represented the Dutch National Team, participating in six national tournaments, and was a member of the Dutch Championship U18 Indoor Hockey team in 2023.
The Eagles earned 31 votes in the predicted order of finish, placing them sixth in the conference. North Carolina tops the preseason polls, followed closely by Virginia. Duke, Wake Forest and Syracuse round out the top five.
