The game, which is set for a 1:30 p.m. start, can be seen on national television on ACC Network, and a list of updated cable providers can be found on www.getaccn.com.
All home 2020 BC athletics events will be closed to the public due to Covid-19 protocols.

ABOUT VIRGINIA TECH
• The Hokies are coming off a 4-3 road win over Wake Forest on Thursday night ... Tori Powell had five points with two goals and one assist, including the game-winner in the 84th minute.
• Emily Gray leads Virginia Tech with 12 points on two goals and eight assists ... Powell is second with 11 points on a team-leading five goals and one assist.
• Gray was named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, along with BC's Jenna Bike, this past week.
• Alia Skinner has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Hokies ... Skinner has a 4-6-0 record to go with a 1.61 goals against average, .805 save percentage, 66 saves and one shutout.

• Boston College has a record of 8-6-3 in the all-time series with Virginia Tech ... the Eagles are 4-3-1 at home against the Hokies.
• The teams first met on Oct. 14, 2001, with the Eagles earning a 2-0 home win ... BC began the series with a five-game unbeaten streak, opening up with three wins before two ties ... the three games mark a series-best winning streak for either team.
• In last year's meeting in Blacksburg, the Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the 70th minute thanks to Gaby Carreiro but the Hokies struck twice in the final 15 minutes for a 2-1 win.
• BC won the 2018 meeting in Newton, 3-0 ... current Eagle Jillian Jennings registered one assist in that win.
• Thirteen of the 15 meetings have been decided by one goal or less.

LAST TIME OUT
• Boston College hosted No. 10 Virginia on Thursday night, with the Cavaliers holding off an Eagles' comeback for a 2-1 win.
• After a scoreless first half, the Cavaliers struck twice in a span of four minutes in the second half to take a 2-0 lead ... Emily Knous pulled BC even with seven minutes to play but the Cavaliers fended off the BC attack for the remainder of the game.
• Allie Augur made four saves for BC ... Knous, Jenna Bike and Jillian Jennings paced BC with three shots each.
• Knous' goal was her second in as many games.
BIKE IS BACK
• After missing all of 2019 due to injury, forward Jenna Bike has returned to the pitch for the Eagles this fall.
• The captain scored her first goal of the season on Oct. 8 at Pitt ... it was her first goal since scoring the game-winning goal against Florida State on Sept. 23, 2019.
• Bike's strike against No. 1 UNC on Oct. 18 ended a 499-minute shutout streak for the Tar Heels.
• The graduate student then converted the first penalty kick attempt of her career in a 3-1 win at Syracuse for her team-leading third goal of the year.
• Bike now has 13 goals in her career ... she is BC's active scoring leader with 36 points on 13 goals and 10 assists.
ON THE ROAD AT THE ORANGE
• Boston College earned its first win of the season on Thursday, Oct. 22 with a 3-1 win at Syracuse.
• The Orange struck first but Jenna Bike's penalty kick conversion in the 21st minute and Laura Gouvin's first career goal 20 minutes later put BC up at the break ... Emily Knous then added an insurance goal for the Eagles in the 6th minute.
• Gouvin's and Knous' tallies were both their first as an Eagle while Nye Day earned her first collegiate point with an assist on Gouvin's winner.
• It marked the first time that BC won a game when the opponent scored first since Sept. 30, 2018 in a 2-1 win at Clemson.
• Goalkeeper Allie Augur made three saves for BC.
SOME FIRSTS
• Laura Gouvin scored her first career goal - and first career game-winning goal - in BC's win at Syracuse on Oct. 22 ... BC now has two players on the roster who scored the game-winning goal with their first collegiate goal in Gouvin and Sam Smith.
• Gouvin's first collegiate point came with an assist at Pitt on Oct. 8.
• Jenna Bike attempted and converted her first career penalty kick in BC's 3-1 win at Syracuse on Oct. 22.
• Nye Day earned her first collegiate point with an assist on Laura Gouvin's goal at Syracuse on Oct. 22.
