CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team opens 2020 at the Gordon Indoor Track at Harvard University for the Harvard Multi-Meet and Beantown Challenge on Jan. 10-11.

Schedule of Events
At the Harvard Multi Meet, women's competitors will take part in the pentathlon on Friday, contested across the 60m Hurdles, the High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump and 800m. The men will compete in the Heptathlon, spanning both Friday and Saturday, with the 60m Dash, Long Jump, Shot Put, and High Jump events taking place Friday while the 60m High Hurdles, Pole Vault and 1000m will be contested on Saturday.
Julia Lyons started off the season strong, placing second in the long jump at the BU Opener with a mark of 5.71m (18-9.00). Lyons was one of three top-three finishes at the BU Opener, as Abigail Bothers – third in the high jump with a 1.65m (5-5.00) and Katherine Mitchell – third in the 800m with a 2:13.11 – finished in third in their events.
The Eagles will compete against schools from across the northeast as Harvard, Northeastern, UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, Boston College, Brown, Stonehill, Holy Cross and UConn will also be competing.
