BC vs. LOUISVILLE
- This is the eighth meeting between Boston College and Louisville. The Cardinals lead the overall series, 6-1. Prior to joining the ACC the two teams played twice.
- BC's only victory over Louisville came in the first meeting on Dec. 28, 1985. BC defeated the Cardinals, 74-68, behind Marie Grant's 20-point, 9-rebound effort at the WRAL Classic hosted by NC State.Â
- Last season Boston College lost to Louisville, 87-51, on the road at the end of February. Sydney Lowery led BC with 12 points and five rebounds, while Emma Guy pitched in with 10 points and four boards. Louisville was led by Asia Durr with 23 points
- Coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee was an assistant coach at Maryland alongside current Louisville head coach Jeff Walz when the Terps won the 2005-06 National Championship.
- BC assistant coach AJ Cohen was a practice player and video assistant coordinator for the Louisville program. He is a 2013 graduate of Louisville.

TEAM NOTES
- Sophomore Taylor Soule has grabbed double-figures in rebounding in five consecutive games. The last player to accomplish that feat was Carolyn Swords '11 in the 2010-11 season. Soule is averaging 11.6 rebounds in the last five games.
- Senior Emma Guy shot 9-for-12 from the floor and finished with a team-high 21 points vs. Virginia. Prior to that she recorded her second double-double of the season at Notre Dame (11 points, 12 boards).
- Sophomore Marnelle Garraud had five steals vs. UVA. In 16 games she has 41 steals, tops in the ACC.
- Boston College is second in the ACC in assists (16 games, 252, 15.75 a game). Louisville leads the conference with 271 assists.
- The Eagles are second in the ACC in scoring offense (76.81 in 16 games). FSU is averaging 77.2 points in 17 games for the spot.
