Eagles Head to No. 6 Florida State For ACC Opener

Thursday night's game - the first conference contest for both teams - will air live on the ACC Network.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will have its first ACC test of the season on Thursday night, traveling to Florida State for a 7 p.m. match. The game can be seen on national television on ACC Network, and a list of updated cable providers can be found on www.getaccn.com. It will also be streaming via the ESPN App.

ABOUT FLORIDA STATE
• The 6-2-0 Seminoles are coming off a 5-0 home win over Villanova on Sunday afternoon ... Yujie Zhao scored twice for FSU to become the team's third student-athlete to record a multi-goal game this season ... Brooke Bollinger made two saves for her second shutout of the season.
• The defending national champions are led in scoring by Deyna Castellanos who has five goals and four assists ... Jenna Nighswonger has three goals and three assists while Zhao has three goals and one assist.

• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA from Wake Forest in 2002.
