Elizabeth Warner and Margo Carlin each scored twice for the Eagles.

After a scoreless first quarter, Margo Carlin scored her first of the day early in the second to give BC a 1-0 lead at the half.

The Big Green (0-3) equalized less than a minute into the third quarter before the Eagles (2-3) reeled off three unanswered goals to take a 4-1 lead with 15 minutes to play. Dartmouth would pull one back but Sly Caron's first of the season quashed the comeback and gave the game its final 5-2 score.

Boston College will remain at home on Sunday, Sept. 15 for a 1 p.m. meeting with Northeastern.

SCORING
1-0 | Near the right side of the goal, Carlin lofted the ball back across her body and high past Isabella Santucci.
1-1 | Off of a corner, Carmen Braceras inserted and Katie Spanos hit the stopped ball past Jonna Kennedy.
2-1 | Elizabeth Warner redirected a shot from Fusine Govaert.
3-1 | Carlin put back the initial rebound off of a corner.
4-1 | Emily Buttinger sent the ball in and Warner grabbed it and fired from point blank.
4-2 | Braceras hit a backhand off of a pass from Spanos.
5-2 | Govaert's ball found Sky Caron and the sophomore finished it for her first goal of the season.
NOTES
-Margo Carlin and Elizabeth Warner each finished with two goals … Carlin now has a team-leading five goals for 10 points.
-BC had the 33-4 edge in shots and a 26-3 lead in shots on goal.
-The Eagles had eight penalty corners to two for the Big Green.
-Isabella Santucci finished with 20 saves for Dartmouth while Jonna Kennedy stopped one shot on the day.
