Eagles Unveil Full 2019-20 Men’s Hockey Schedule

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's hockey program has announced its schedule for the 2019-20 season, which includes featured home opponents Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Boston University and UMass.
The Eagles will host New Brunswick in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 5 and then welcome the Wisconsin Badgers to Kelley Rink the following Friday night (Oct. 11) for the regular season opener. Following road games against Colgate (Oct. 13) and Denver (Oct. 18-19), the Hockey East opener takes place on the Heights against Providence on Friday, Oct. 25.
November will see Boston College visit New Hampshire, Providence, UConn and Vermont in league play. The Eagles host Yale in a pre-Thanksgiving game on Tuesday, Nov. 26 before traveling to nearby Harvard on Black Friday (Nov. 30). A home-and-home series with longtime rival Notre Dame, beginning at Conte Forum on Friday, Dec. 6, will close out the first half.
BC will skate in five home games in January to start the 2020 portion of the schedule against UVM (Jan. 4), defending Hockey East regular season champion UMass (Jan. 10), archrival Boston University (Jan. 18) and Maine (Jan. 24-25). After a trip to Amherst on the final day of January, the Eagles meet BU in the first round of the 68th Beanpot on Monday, Feb. 3 at TD Garden.
Home-and-home sets with Merrimack, Northeastern and UNH await Boston College to finish the regular season, including Senior Night on Friday, March 6 in Chestnut Hill. BC's return trip down Comm Ave to Agganis Arena is set for Saturday, Feb. 29 for the third matchup of the regular season against the Terriers.
This year's NCAA Frozen Four will be held at Little Caesers Arena in Detroit on April 9-11. The last Frozen Four in Motown was BC's 2010 national title over Wisconsin at Ford Field.
