Oscar Hemming is among the Boston College hockey players that are eligible to be selected in Buffalo
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2026 NHL Draft begins on Friday in Buffalo at the KeyBank Center, home of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres, and several current and future members of the Boston College men's hockey program are slated to hear their name called.
The first round of the draft is slated to begin Friday at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN. Rounds 2-7 start on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and will be broadcast on NHL Network and ESPN+. The draft will be nationally televised in Canada as well on Sportsnet.
The following current and future signed players are ranked in the NHL Central Scouting's final prospect rankings:
NORTH AMERICAN SKATERS
Oscar Hemming - No. 11
Casey Mutryn - No. 24
Rudolfs Berzkalns - No. 30
Olivers Murnieks - No. 98
Callum Croskery - No. 110
Luka Radivojevic - No. 215
NORTH AMERICAN GOALIES
Roberto Henriquez - No. 34
Players born between January 1, 2006, and September 15, 2008, are eligible for selection in the 2026 NHL entry draft. Additionally, un-drafted, non-North American players born in 2005 are eligible for the draft; and those players who were drafted in the 2024 NHL entry draft, but not signed by an NHL team and who were born after June 30, 2006, are also eligible to re-enter the draft.
The Eagles have had at least one player drafted in each of the last 30 years, tied with Michigan for the longest streak in college hockey history. Boston College has had 27 all-time first round draft picks, tied for second-most in college hockey. To view BC's NHL Draft history, click HERE.
Per NCAA rules, the Boston College men's hockey program cannot comment on unsigned prospects.
