Five Eagles Honored by ECAC

Acacia Walker-Weinstein was named Coach of the Year while Sam Apuzzo earned Offensive Player of the Year nods
DANBURY, Conn. - Eagles headlined the 2019 ECACÂ Division I major awards, as senior Sam Apuzzo was named Offensive Player of the Year and head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein was named Coach of the Year.
Three other Eagles earned placement on the All-ECAC Teams, with Apuzzo joining Kenzie Kent and Elizabeth Miller on the First Team and Dempsey Arsenault earning placement on the Second Team. All four athletes also earned IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team nods earlier this week and All-ACC First Team recognition.
The Eagles continue their season with a rematch with North Carolina on Friday, May 24 at Homewood Stadium in Baltimore. First draw is set for 5:00 pm.
