Freshman Kristin Giery leads Eagles offense with two hits, a home run and three RBI.
BC's had 11 hits in the game, the ninth time the team recorded double-digits in hits in a game.
Giery led the attack with her third home run this season and a career-high three RBI. Senior Allyson Moore had three hits, with two doubles and an RBI. It was the third time she has had three hits in a game and her seventh multiple hit game. Senior Lexi DIEmmanuele chipped in with two hits, an RBI and stolen base.
BC freshman pitcher Susannah Anderson picked up her sixth win of the season. Anderson went five innings and scattered six hits. Camryn Dolby pitched the last two innings and struck out three.
Boston College went up 1-0 in the first on a double down the right field line by Moore. BC tacked on two more runs in the second behind an RBI single from Lexi DiEmmanuele and an infielder's choice for a 3-0 lead.
The Eagles gave up two runs in the second inning on a single to right but got one back in the third inning. Giery's home run opened up the fourth inning as the Eagles lead grew to, 4-2. She then hit a two-run single in the fifth for a 6-2 BC lead. The final run was scored on a bases loaded walk to Carly Severini in the sixth.
Dolby struck out two in the final inning to seal the win.
Prior to the game, the softball program held a first pitch for a "STAFF APPRECIATION Day". Professors, staff members were chosen by the players to honor prior to the game.Â

- Boston College will travel to Pittsburgh to play the Panthers in a three-game series this weekend. The first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Friday.
