Eagles Set to Compete on Thursday at Penn Relays

BC to race in 4x100, 4x400, DMR relays; several individual events
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College's women's track & field team will head to Philadelphia on Thursday for the 125th running of the Penn Relays. The meet will take place at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
On Thursday, BC will have teams entered in the College Women's 4x100, 4x400, and distance medley relays. The Eagles will also have entrants in several individual events. Emma Taylor and Jessica Creedon will compete in the college women's 400m hurdles, while Creedon, Elizabeth Knoll, and Abigail Gothers will also take part in the college women's high jump. Julia Lyons is in the field of the college women's long jump, while Amanda Sinkewicz will take part in the college women's javelin championship. On Thursday night, Paige Duca and Isabelle Kennedy toe the line in the women's 3,000m, while a trio of Eagles - Lauren White, Fian Sullivan Sweeney, and Colleen Sliney - will race in the women's 5,000m.
