
Eagles Celebrate Senior Day on Saturday vs. N.C. State

SENIOR DAY - PRE-GAME CEREMONY TO HONOR CHATMAN, MEZNIEKS, GEHAN, TEAM MANAGERS
- Prior to the game - at approximately 1:45 pm ET - the 2018-19 Boston College Men's Basketball Senior Day Ceremony will begin.Â
- Three members of the Boston College men's basketball team and four team managers will be making their final regular season appearances at Conte Forum.
- Student-athletes Jordan Chatman, Ervins Meznieks, and Gordon Gehan, as well as managers Bobby Clarke, Stephen Goldsmith, Siqi Wang, and Jack Connolly will be recognized as part of Senior Day.
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. N.C. STATE - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 24th meeting between the two schools.
- N.C. State holds a narrow 12-11 lead in the all-time series.
- BC and N.C. State are 3-3 in their last six meetings.
- In ACC regular season play, the Eagles are 7-12 vs. N.C. State.
- Earlier this season, Boston College fell, 89-80, in overtime in Raleigh.
- The Eagles are 3-8 all-time at home vs. the Wolfpack but have captured the last two meeting on the Heights.
BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY
- Boston College is 81-155 in 13 seasons in the ACC.
- The Eagles finished with a 7-11 record in ACC play last year - the most conference wins since the 2012-13 season.
- BC's best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
- BC tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).
TRIO OF TEAMS FROM 1966-69 TO BE HONORED
- The 1966-67, 1967-68, and the 1968-69 squads will be honored during today's game for their appearances in the NCAA and National Invitation Tournament.
- The three teams - under the tutelage of head coach and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Bob Cousy – made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament and played in one NIT. Â
- The 1966-67 team advanced to the program's first-ever NCAA Elite Eight, downing Connecticut and St. John's before losing to North Carolina in the East regional championship.
- The following year – the 1967-68 team elevated to a No. 6 ranking on the Associated Press top 20 poll during the regular season and was rewarded again with another trip to the NCAA Tournament. Â
- The 1968-69 team shined bright at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Â
- BC was ranked as high as No. 16 on the AP poll and advanced to the NIT championship, losing to Temple in the title game.
- The Eagles were led by All-American Terry Driscoll, who was named the NIT's Most Outstanding Player in a losing effort.

- Boston College is 5-1 all-time and 1-1 in ACC play in games played on the March 9 calendar date.

- With his 3FG with 14:48 to play vs. Pitt on Feb. 17, Jordan Chatman became the 44th member of BC's 1,000 point club.
- Chatman reached 1,000 career points in 87 games in a BC uniform.
- Earlier in the season - Jan. 26 at Wake Forest - Chatman reached the 1,000 point mark for his collegiate career.
- He reached that milestone 115 total games into his career between BYU and Boston College, from 2015-present.

- Entering this season, the last time two BC players had a double-double in the same game happened on Dec. 28, 2006.
- Sean Marshall (30 pts/10 reb) and Sean Williams (19 pts/10 reb) had double-doubles for BC vs. Duquesne.
POPOVIC PERFECT
- Nik Popovic registered the fourth-best single-game shooting performance in BC history, going 9-for-9 vs. Minnesota.
- It is the fourth time a BC player attempted at least nine field goals without a miss.
- The last BC player to go at least 9-for-9 from the floor was Corey Raji, who was 12-for-12 vs. Maine on Dec. 23, 2008.
