BC tops CMU but falls to Georgia Southern in game two
Georgia Southern moved to 12-6 overall with the victory while BC dropped to 4-10.
Ashleigh Morton tossed 4.0 innings with two strikeouts to move to 5-2 on the season for Georgia Southern. GSU outhit BC 8-5 as center fielder Mekhia Freeman finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI.
Five BC players finished with hits, including two RBI from Gianna Randazza. Shortstop Carlie Sanders was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and a RBI for the Eagles while DiEmmanuele finished with a RBI base hit for Boston College.
Boston College finishes up play in the Madeira Beach Tournament Sunday at 9 a.m. against Tennessee-Chattanooga.
