
#19 Eagles Set to Face UConn in Home-and-Home Series

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – 19th-ranked Boston College begins a home-and-home series against UConn at 7 p.m. on Friday night (Nov. 8) at Kelley Rink. The series concludes on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9) with a 3:30 p.m. faceoff at the XL Center. Both games can be viewed on CBS All-Access ($) and Saturday's game in Hartford will air on NESN. Radio coverage begins 15 minutes prior to faceoff on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.TV.
THROWBACK JERSEYS
• Boston College will wear special throwback jerseys on Friday, modeled after the uniforms worn by BC for two seasons from 1960-62
• The jerseys were worn prior to Jerry York's first varsity season for the Eagles in 1964-65
• The full jersey design will be released on @BCHockey social media on Friday morning

• Boston College scored three straight goals in the second period and the penalty kill held off No. 7 Providence in the closing minutes for a 3-2 Hockey East victory last Saturday night at Schneider Arena
• The Eagles snapped a four-game losing streak as the teams split their two-game regular season series
• BC's top line of David Cotton (1-1-2), Julius Mattila (1-1-2) and Aapeli Räsänen (0-2-2) combined for six points
