Eagles Get Set for Brandeis Invitational

BC will head to Brandeis for the final competition of the semester.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College fencing team will return to competition this weekend at the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 1. The Eagles will be facing MIT, Harvard, Cornell, Wellesley College and the University of the Incarnate Word.

Last Time Out
-The Eagles were last in action at the first Northeast Fencing Conference meet of the season on Nov. 17, with the men's and women's sides combining to pick up 12 wins and go undefeated.
-The men earned five wins, with the sabre quad going 41-4 overall with wins over all five opponents. The foils quad went 37-8 with wins over all five opponents as well, while the epee squad was 37-8 on the day, only falling to Ivy League foe Brown.
-The women's side defeated seven schools, with the sabre squad going 44-19, the epee squad going 48-15 and the foil squad racking up over 50 victories with a 51-12 total.Â

Boston College will now break for finals and the holidays before returning to action at the North American Cup Jan. 3-6 in Charlotte, N.C.
