No. 12 Eagles Host Yale Tuesday Night on the Heights

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – 12th-ranked Boston College looks to extend its five-game winning streak with a pre-Thanksgiving matchup against the ECAC's Yale Bulldogs on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at Kelley Rink at 7 p.m. The game will air live on CBS All-Access ($) with audio on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.TV beginning at 6:45 p.m. The Eagles (7-4-0, 5-2-0 HEA) were idle this past weekend and rank 12th and 14th in this week's national polls.Â
ROUNDING INTO FORM
• Boston College is riding a five-game winning streak, tied for the fourth longest unbeaten streak in the nation
• During those five games, the Eagles have outscored their opponents by a total of 22-4
• The power play is 7-for-22 (31.8%) and the penalty kill is 16-for-19 (84.2%) during that span
• BC's shot totals have risen to an average of 36.0 per game with a +40 shot margin over the last five
• Spencer Knight owns a 0.80 GAA and .971 SV% with two shutouts during the win streak
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
• Yale enters Tuesday night at 2-6-0 through eight games, all in ECAC play
• The Bulldogs wrapped up a four-game homestand this past weekend at Ingalls Rink by beating St. Lawrence 6-3 before falling 4-1 to Clarkson
• Bruins draft pick Curtis Hall has scored a team-best five goals, while Billy Sweezey and Jack St. Ivany lead the team with five assists apiece

• Aapeli Räsänen scored his first career hat trick to lead BC past the Huskies 5-1 the following afternoon at the XL Center as the Eagles swept the home-and-home set
• Räsänen added an assist for a career-high four points, while Ben Finkelstein (1-1-2), Mike Hardman (1-1-2) and Newhook (0-2-2) also registered multi-point performances

• In the month of November, Spencer Knight leads the nation in SV% (.970) and GAA (0.83)
• Knight has also led BC to the number one scoring defense in the country in November (0.83 GAA)
• He was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Nov. 18 following a 2-0-0 weekend in Vermont
• Overall, the rookie netminder ranks third in Hockey East in SV% (.936) and GAA (1.91) while leading the league in shutouts (3) in just 11 starts between the pipes

• David Cotton became the 81st player in program history to reach 100 career points on Nov. 15 at UVM
• The last Eagle to hit the century mark was Ryan Fitzgerald in 2017 (T-42nd all-time with 132 points)

• He has five multi-point games this season, including one in each win during the Vermont series
