
Eagles, Terriers Set to Renew Rivalry on Friday Night

The Eagles and Terriers will meet for the first time this season on Friday night at Walter Brown Arena.

BC and BU have squared off as varsity teams 56 times prior to Friday's contest, with the Eagles holding an edge of 30-19-7 in the all-time series. The rivals met four times last season, with BC taking the first meeting at Kelley Rink, 4-3, before BU took a home-and-home series a week later with 3-2 and 4-2 wins. The Eagles and Terriers met again in the Hockey East Tournament semifinal, with BC skating to a 5-1 win in the neutral site meeting.

• Of the five skaters, two have already produced career-highs in points, goals and assists just 10 games into the season in Olivia Finocchiaro and Savannah Norcross, while Jillian Fey has already tied her career-high in points while registering a career-best three assists.
• Kelly Browne and Cayla Barnes rank second and third on the team, respectively, in points.
• In the team's 39 games in 2018-19, the then freshman recorded a total of 58 points on 20 goals and 38 assists.
SECOND PERIOD SCORING SURGES
• Boston College leads the country in second period scoring, racking up 62 points on 23 goals and 39 assists.
• The Eagles have also scored a nation-leading three short-handed goals in the second frame and sit tied for first in game-winning goals with four.
• The Eagles scored four goals in the first 9:06 of the second period against Holy Cross on Oct. 3, with Hannah Bilka recording a hat trick in exactly seven minutes ... against Providence on Nov. 2, BC scored four goals in the first 10:12 of the middle frame.
