Eagles host Syracuse on Friday at 7

The Boston College men's soccer team hosts rival Syracuse on Friday at 7 p.m. in the final ACC regular season game of the season. The Eagles (7-4-3, 1-4-2 ACC) and Orange (7-4-4, 1-4-2) will kick off at 7 p.m.

Prior to the match the program will honor seven seniors –Lasse Lehmann, Heidar Aegisson, Joe Kellett, Adam French, Callum Johnson, Ronaldinho Diniz and Rafael Salama.

Boston College is coming off a tough 3-1 loss at No. 3 Clemson on Friday. Joe Kellett scored the Eagles lone goal on a penalty kick. BC is 4-3-3 in the last 10 games and 2-2-1 in the last five. Four of the last seven games have gone into overtime.

Syracuse upset No. 23 NC State, 3-0, on Saturday night at home. The Orangemen are now 4-1-0 in the last five games. The loss was a wild 7-4 match at home against Clemson on October 19.

-Five Eagles will serve as the BC captains this season - seniors Lasse Lehmann, Joe Kellett, Heidar Aegisson, Adam French and junior David Longo. Aegisson is the only two-time captain as he served as a team leader in 2018.

THE SENIORS
- Lasse Lehmann, a native of Germany, has played and started every game this season. A team co-captain, Lehmann has been a catalyst in the midfield for Boston College. The midfielder has two goals, four assists for four career points. Friday's game vs Syracuse will be his 64^th career game and 53^rd start as an Eagle.
- Heidar Aegisson, a native of Iceland, is a two-time team captain. He has played in 31 career games and has one goal and eight assists for 10 points. He has been hindered by injuries and has only played five games this season.
- Joe Kellett, a native of Norfolk, has played in every minute of every game this season. A team co-captain, Kellett has tallied a career-high three goals and two assists for eight points. Kellett has started every game in his collegiate career.
- Adam French, a native of Westborough, is a co-captain. The fourth-year forward opened the season with his first career goal vs. Quinnipiac. He has played 29 career games with eight starts.
- A native of New York, Callum Johnson has missed this season due to injury. A midfielder, he has played in 52 games and has tallied eight goals, 10 assists for 26 career points. He has recorded four career game-winning goals.
- Ronaldinho Diniz, a native of Brockton, arrived at Boston College after playing two seasons at Wheaton College. He has played in 18 games while at the Heights.
- Rafael Salama, a graduate student from Madrid, Spain, has played in 49 career games with 39 starts. He started 10 game as a freshman, including the last six games. Salama was a starting midfielder on the 2015 team which advanced to the Elite Eight.
