No. 22 Clemson Comes to Newton on Thursday Night

The Eagles will play the final regular season contest of the 2019 slate.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will wrap up the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 31 when the No. 22 Clemson Tigers come to town. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, which is available via WatchESPN.com or the ESPN App.

ABOUT CLEMSON
• The Tigers are coming off a 3-2 overtime win over Pitt on Sunday afternoon ... Julie Mackin scored twice for Clemson and then Hal Hershfelt put home the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute to move the team to 10-5-1 overall and 4-5-0 in ACC play.
• Renee Guion has a team-high 13 points on 11 assists and one goal while Mariana Speckmaier has a team-leading six goals for her 12 points ... Speckmaier was named to the 11-member Preseason All-ACC team.
• Eight players have scored at least two goals for the Tigers while 16 players total have registered at least a point.
• Goalkeeper Sandy MacIver has gone 7-4-1 while posting a 1.27 goals against average, a .673 save percentage and three shutouts.
• The Tigers were tabbed fifth in the ACC Preseason Coaches poll.

• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA from Wake Forest in 2002.
CAPTAIN CARREIRO
• Midfielder Gaby Carreiro has set a new career-high in goals this season with five, and sits third on the team with her career-best 12 points.
• The tri-captain scored one goal against Boston University on Aug. 29 ... she has also gone 2-for-2 on penalty kicks, converting against Miami (Sept. 26) and Louisville (Sept. 29).
• Carreiro scored her fourth goal of the season against Virginia Tech on Oct. 24.
