Red Bandanna Game Set for Noon Kickoff Nov. 9

Boston College hosts Florida State next Saturday on ACC Network.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College's home football game versus Florida State on Saturday, November 9 has been selected as a nationally televised noon match-up on ACC Network. The Eagles' annual Red Bandanna Game will be their sixth opportunity on the first-year network.

Boston College's Red Bandanna Game honors Welles Crowther '01; a former BC lacrosse player, who lost his life in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 after saving as many as 18 lives.

BC will also honor its 2019 senior class prior to the game on Senior Day along with the jersey retirement of consensus All-America tight end Pete Mitchell at halftime.

The 1984 Cotton Bowl team will also be recognized on the field during the game against the Seminoles.

The Eagles are currently 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the ACC coming off a road loss to No. 2/4 Clemson. The Seminoles are 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the ACC following a win over Syracuse.

Last season, FSU came from behind to beat BC, 22-21 at home. The Seminoles lead the all-time series 12-5.

This week, BC is in action at Syracuse on Saturday at noon. The Eagles vs. Orange game will be broadcast on ACC Network and can be heard locally on 93.7 WEEI beginning with the network pregame show at 11:30 a.m.
