Two Game Road Swing for Eagles

BC to play at Wake Forest on Thursday at 7, followed by Sunday at Pittsburgh, 1 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's basketball team will embark on a two-game ACC road swing this week. The Eagles (11-4, 0-2) will play at Wake Forest (9-5, 0-1) on Thursday at the LJVM Coliseum (7 p.m.). The game will be carried on NESN Plus and ACC Network Extra.

BC will then head to Pittsburg (9-6, 0-1) to play the Panthers on Sunday at the Petersen Events Center (1 p.m.). This game will be on NESN and the ACC Network Extra.
Boston College is coming off a tough home loss to No. 9 NC State on Sunday at Conte Forum. The Eagles fell, 85-69, despite 17 points and 10 rebounds from freshman Makayla Dickens and 17 points and seven rebounds from Emma Guy.

BC vs. WAKE FOREST
- Wake Forest opened up ACC action against Miami at home. The Deacs lost, 72-57, Sunday at home. Alex Sharp led Wake Forest with 15 points, while Ivana Raca had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Boston College and Wake Forest (9-5, 0-1) have played 16 times. The two teams never played outside of the ACC action.
- BC won the first three meetings.
- The Eagles have lost the last four meetings against Wake Forest.

- Freshman Makayla Dickens posted her first career double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) vs. NC State on Sunday. Dickens is averaging 11.6 points and 4.9 rebounds a game. She has scored in double-figures in the last three games, and in nine game this season.

- This year the Play4Kay Initiative game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. It is also scheduled to be the annual Alumni Game. - On Jan. 10, 2010, former Eagles center Carolyn Swords grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds, along with 17 points in an 83-66 win over NC State. It was her ninth double-double of the season. Swords matched her career-high of 16 boards again on March 19, 2011 in a WNIT victory over St. Joe's at Conte Forum.
