Men's Track and Field Set to Compete at BU This Weekend

MTF Gets Ready for the BU Multi Team Meet
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's track and field team is back in action this weekend at the Boston University Multi Team Meet on Saturday (Jan. 19).

Junior sprinter Richard Webber will be competing in the 60M dash and the 200M dash on Saturday. Webber has a seed time of 6.90 in the 60M, and a seed time of 22.10 in the 200M. In the 300M dash, seven Eagles will be competing.

Sophomore Ben Davies will look to build on his early season success in the 800M. At the BU Season Opener, he won the event with a time of 1:54.21.

Senior Ian Ritchie will be running the mile for the Eagles, where earlier this season he earned a fourth place finish at the BU Season Opener with a time of 4:14.64. Sean Sullivan, Kyle Fraddis, Ben Ruffling, Gordon Pollock, and Will Peters will also be competing in the mile.

In the field events, junior Avery Mckenzie will compete in the triple jump for the third time this season. In his other two outings, he registered jumps of 14.92 meters (fifth all-time at BC), and 14.55 meters consecutively.Â
