Eagles-Panthers Tip at 1 on NESN
PITTSBURGH, Pa. –  The Boston College women's basketball team will head to Pittsburgh in pursuit of its second ACC win. The Eagles will play the Panthers (9-7, 0-2 ACC)  Sunday at the Petersen Events Center (1 p.m.). The game will air on NESN and the ACC Network Extra.
The Eagles picked up their first ACC win of the season on Thursday night in a 65-64 victory over Wake Forest in Winston-Salem. Freshman Makayla Dickens had 11 points and 16 rebounds, including an offensive board in the final seconds to seal the victory. Junior Taylor Ortlepp finished with 19 points, while sophomore Milan Bolden-Morris pitched in with 13 points.

This was BC head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee's first ACC victory.Â

BC vs. PITTSBURGH
- Pittsburgh (9-7, 0-2) Â is coming off a 63-34 loss at NC State on Thursday.
- Head Coach Lance White is in his first season at Pittsburgh. White was at Florida State as an assistant for nine seasons, then promoted to associate head coach in 2012-13.
- The BC/Pitt series dates back to 1983, when the teams first met at Boston College. BC lost the game on Jan. 31, 70-62.
- BC leads the overall series, 27-18.
- BC's first win vs. Pittsburgh (9-6, 0-1) took place on Jan. 8, 1986 (69-57). Former BC small forward Marie Grant had 13 points and 14 rebounds.
