Arsenault and Stevens Tabbed Eagles of the Week

These Eagles had shining performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior lacrosse player Dempsey Arsenault and junior baseball player Jacob Stevens have been named Nissan Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Arsenault has been an unstoppable offensive force for the Eagles as they've slated an 11-0 season so far. In BC's 19-10 win over Louisville, the midfielder notched her eighth game of the season with a hat trick as well as adding two assists for six points on the match. Arsenault won 12 draw controls over the Cardinals to break the Eagles' program record for draw controls in a single game. The junior also added two ground balls and caused a turnover while defending Louisville's top player, holding her to a single goal

?Starter right-hander Jacob Stevens threw six innings against No. 21 Virginia?, allowing seven hits but just one run and one walk while striking out five. He picked up his third win of the season and lowered his ERA to ?2.63, 12th in the ACC. In his two career starts against UVA, Stevens has thrown 12 innings, allowed just two runs – one earned – eight hits and six walks while striking out 11.

The lacrosse team returns to action when it hosts North Carolina on Saturday, March 24 at noon at the Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field. The baseball team opens home ACC play when it plays Virginia Tech on Friday through Sunday, March 23 – 25.
