Baseball heading to NCAA Tournament for first time since 2023
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College baseball received the two-seed in the Athens Regional, hosted by Georgia, in the NCAA Tournament as announced Monday afternoon. The Eagles (36-21) return to the tournament field for the first time since 2023 and are making their 13th overall appearance.
Number-3 overall seed Georgia and Boston College are joined by three-seed Liberty, which BC will play in its opener on Friday, and four-seed LIU. The regionals are scheduled to be played May 29-June 1.
Boston College 's 36 overall wins are the second most in program history, including a program-best 17 wins in ACC play.
The Eagles are 25-25 all-time in the NCAA Tournament with four trips to the College World Series; most recently in 1967.
