Both men's and women's teams placed fourth in the team portion of the ACC Championships

RESULTS
Both men's and women's teams placed fourth in the team portion of the ACC Championships this past weekend. Top individual performers in the team rounds were Cam Mayer, men's foil, Ella Morgan, women's epee, and Ben Slavin, men's sabre.
Mayer was 3-0 versus Notre Dame and UNC in the team round, including a win over two-time NCAA qualifier Axel Kiefer of Notre Dame, finishing 6-3 in the team portion of the competition. Cam also posted the top finish in the individual event, placing 7th.
Morgan's 5-4 record in women's epee included 2-1 records against Duke and UNC. She finished 5-4 in the team rounds.
Slavin also posted a 5-4 record, including 2-1 efforts against Notre Dame and Duke, to finish 5-4 for the day in the team rounds.
"This was a particularly competitive year at the ACCs, but the opportunity to compete against the best, in this format, is fantastic preparation for the NCAA Regional Championships in two weeks."
