Junior Emma Guy tallied a career-high 25 points in BC’s 10th win of the season.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College junior Emma Guy tallied a career-high 25 points with seven rebounds to lead the Eagles past Campbell, 76-56, in non-conference action at Conte Forum on Friday night.

Boston College improved to 10-2 and will host Dartmouth on Dec. 29 (2 p.m.). Campbell dropped to 7-3 and will host Columbia College on Sunday, Dec. 30.

The Eagles came out fast as they jumped out to an 18-3 lead in the first quarter. Emma Guy had six points in the quarter, while BC scored 12 points in the paint. The Eagles held the Camels to one field goal in the first quarter, a jumper a minute into the game.

The offense stalled in the second quarter as BC shot 40 percent from the floor and had seven turnovers. The Eagles took a 33-19 lead into the locker room at the half.

Freshman Marnelle Garraud (13 points, four rebounds, three steals) hit a three-pointer to open the third quarter as BC held a 26-point lead. Guy had nine points as she shot 2-for-3 from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 from the foul line to give BC a 52-36 lead after three quarters.

The fourth quarter Guy took over inside. She went 5-for-5 from the floor and scored 10 of the Eagles 24 points in the quarter. The Eagles shot 10-for-16 from the floor to seal the win.
