Simon Enstrom Invited to 2019 MLS Player Combine

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer senior Simon Enstrom has been invited to the 2019 adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine, which will take place Jan. 3-9 at Orlando City Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Enstrom is one of 60 college players in the United States and Canada invited to the combine.

Enstrom led the Eagles in 2018 with 19 points, scoring nine goals while assisting on one another. Four of the captain's goals were game-winning scores, tied for second in the conference, and he also led the team and finished second in the ACC with 49 shots. He was named Second Team All-ACC.

The Huddinge, Sweden native finished his BC career with 75 points on 31 goals and 13 assists, good for fifth all-time in program history. His 31 goals place him tied for second in program history. Enstrom finished his career with sixth multi-goal games and 10 multi-point outings.

Enstrom and the other prospective picks in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft will have an opportunity to play scrimmages for scouts of all MLS teams, as well as go through various tests and speak to interested teams ahead of the SuperDraft, which will be on Jan. 11 at McCormick Place convention center in Chicago.
