Boston College (8-2-0, 5-0-0 HEA) comes into the game with an eight-game unbeaten streak after blanking UConn, 3-0, on Thursday night at Kelley Rink. The Eagles received goals from three different players in the win and Maddy McArhur made 19 saves for her second shutout of the season. It was the fifth straight game for BC in which at least three different players scored.

Providence (5-2-0, 2-1-0 HEA) topped New Hampshire, 1-0, on Sunday, Oct. 28. Madison Myers made 30 saves for her second shutout of the season. Her first game in a 5-0 win over Holy Cross on Oct. 12, the third victory in a season-opening four-game winning streak. First-year head coach Matt Kelly's squad is led in scoring by Maureen Murphy's 12 points on six goals and six assists.

• Boston College is 34-36-3 all-time against Providence since elevating to Division I status for the 1995-95 season.
• Since the launch of the Hockey East women's league in 2002-03, BC leads the series at 29-18-3.

• Five different players have scored game-winning goals for the Eagles.

STINGY DEFENSE
• Boston College has limited opponents to one goal or less in each of the last eight games.
• It's the longest stretch in program history for the Eagles, topping a seven-game streak from Oct. 17, 2015 to Nov. 7, 2015.
• It's also the longest in the NCAA since the start of the 2017-18 season, topping Cornell's seven game streak last year.
DUTY CALLS
• Four current Eagles along with Emily Pfalzer '15 were named to the U.S. National Team roster for the 2018 Four Nations Cup, Nov. 6-10 in Saskatchewan.
• Megan Keller, Kali Flanagan, Cayla Barnes and Caitrin Lonergan will be joining Pfalzer in a bid for their country's fourth consecutive Four Nations title.
• Keller, Flanagan, Barnes and Pfalzer were a part of the gold-medal winning team at the 2018 Olympics.
• Lonergan will be making her senior national team debut at the tournament.
