Eagles looking to improve to 4-0 in Hockey East play.
Boston College (6-2-0, 3-0-0 HEA) is coming off a 5-1 win at Holy Cross on Friday night. In what was the first-ever meeting between the two programs, five different players scored for the Eagles while eight players total registered at least one point. Maddy McArthur made 18 stops for her sixth consecutive win.
Maine (6-1-0, 2-1-0 HEA) topped rival New Hampshire, 5-3, on Friday night at Alond Arena. The Black Bears have displayed balanced scoring thus far, with 19 players notching at least one point for the team.
The teams have squared of 62 times prior to Sunday's tilt, with the Eagles holding a lead of 40-16-6 in the all-time series. Two games were played in the series while Maine was still a club team and while the two BC wins count toward's the Eagles' overall program record, they are not part of the head-to-head record.
Boston College will return home on Thursday, Nov. 1 to host the Connecticut Huskies before traveling to Providence on Saturday, Nov. 3 to take on the Friars.
