The No. 19 Boston College women's soccer team will host Pittsburgh on Thursday at the Newton Soccer Field for the final regular season home game of the season.

Boston College (5-3-1) is currently in fifth place in the conference with 16 points, tied with Florida State (5-3-1, 16 points). The Eagles have the edge on FSU due to the early season victory over the Seminoles. Louisville (6-3, 18 points) and Virginia (6-3, 18 points) are currently in third and fourth place. Virginia is at home against NC State (6 p.m.), while Louisville hosts Virginia Tech. Florida State will travel to Miami in its final match of the 2018 season. ABOUT THE TEAMÂ
- Boston College is currently No. 19 in US Coaches Poll and sits at No. 20Â in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll.Â
- The Eagles RPI is at 19. Six ACC teams (UNC, UVA, Duke, FSU, BC, & NC State) have a Top 25 RPI.
- The Eagles set a new program record by opening up the 2018 season at 10-0. It stands as the best start in program history. Prior to this season, BC's best start out of the gates was 9-0-0 in 2006. In 2016, BC opened up with a 9-0-1 record. Since Coach Foley's arrival in 1997, this is the best start for the program.
- Boston College has out-scored opponents, 36-11, and have a 245-152 edge on total shots. BC has been outshot five times this season (W vs. Texas Tech, W vs. FSU, W vs. Clemson, L vs. UNC & L vs. Duke).
LAST TIME OUT
- A late goal by No. 10 Duke stung the Eagles on Sunday afternoon in a 2-1 loss in Durham, N.C.
- The Eagles took the lead early on a goal by Olivia Vaughn off a great ball from Sam Coffey. It was Vaughn's ninth goal of the season.
- Duke tied the game in the 33rd minute on a through ball to MacKenzie Pluck. The Blue Devils scored the game-winner with six minutes to play in the match on a goal by Kayla McCoy.
- Graduate senior Alexis Bryant had four saves in the match.
