BC improved to 14-3-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the ACC.
NEWTON, Mass. - The No. 19 Boston College women's soccer team finished fourth overall in the ACC with a 7-0 victory over Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
BC finished the regular season at 14-3-1 and a 6-3-1 conference record. Pittsburgh finished the 2018 season at 4-12-1 and 0-10 in the conference.
The win not only gave BC fourth place but allowed the Eagles to host the quarterfinal round in the ACC Tournament. Boston College will host Clemson on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Field.
Clemson (6-4-0) defeated Syracuse, 3-0, on Thursday night and tied Louisville for fifth place with 18 points. The tie was broken by goal differential in overall conference games. Clemson had the edge and clinched the No. 5 seed with a plus-six goal differential.
The winner of the BC-Clemson game will advance to the ACC semifinal to play the winner of top-seeded UNC and No. 8 Virginia Tech on Friday, Nov. 2 (5:30 p.m.) at Wake Med Park in Cary, North Carolina.
The Eagles and Clemson earlier this season. BC picked up a 2-1 victory on Sept. 30 at Clemson. Junior Olivia Vaughn scored two goals in the win. The game-winner came in the 82nd minute of the match.

- Sophomore Jillian Jennings tallied her first career goal with an assist for a three-point game. Fellow sophomore Mia Karras notched her first career goal, while Carly Leipzig scored her fourth of the season.
- Junior Emily Langenderfer had two assists, her single game career-high.
