- The Eagles recorded 11 hits.

UNC's Kendra Lynch hit a two-run home run to break a tie and give the Tar Heels a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coroneos led off the game with a single to third. Sharabba recorded a sacrifice bunt to push her to second. Coroneos advanced to third on a passed ball. Murphy scored her with a double to right, giving BC a 1-0 lead.
- The Eagles added another run to take a 2-0 lead in the first. Cortez doubled down the left-field line to score Murphy.
- UNC's Destiny DeBerry reached on an error to lead off the bottom of the third. Taylor Wike scored her on a double to close BC's lead to 2-1.
- The Tar Heels tied the game, 2-2, in the fourth with Brittany Pickett's solo homer.
- UNC added six runs in the fifth to take a 8-2 lead. Following Lynch's home run, Leah Murray scored from third on Micaela Abbatine's walk to give the Tar Heels a 5-2 lead. The Tar Heels scored two more runs on a fly out from Wike, when two crossed the plate after a throwing error. Berlynne Delamora finished the scoring with an RBI single through the left side.
- The Eagles added another run in the sixth. Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele recorded a bunt single and stole second. She ran to third on a groundout. Then sophomore Dani Thomas hit a grounder to score DiEmmanuele, cutting UNC's lead to 8-3.
