- The Boston College men's track and field team began its 2017 outdoor season on Friday, participating in the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State on Friday and Saturday.
- Senior Devaun Bovell returned to the 100m hurdles by winning his heat with a time of 14.96. Bovell's performance landed him in 17th place overall.
- In the distance events, sophomores Benjamin Osipow and Sean Burke each posted new personal best times. Osipow took to the 1500m, finishing in 4:01.36, while Burke raced in the 5000m, crossing the line in 14:30.78.
- The Eagles' sprint medley relay team of sophomore Robert Brennan, senior Obinna Nwankwo, senior Nicholas Nash, and sophomore Andrew Willis kicked off the relay events for the Eagles on the weekend. The tandem combined for an overall time of 3:30.22.
- The Eagles' other relay team raced in the 4x1500m relay. Sophomore Ian Ritchie, Osipow, freshman Ryan Scanlon and senior Michael Stephens landed a 6th place overall finish with their time of 16:09.35.

The Eagles return to action the weekend of April 7th, where they will participate in the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn University. Â
