DURHAM, N.C. – The Boston College men's tennis team fell to Duke, 7-0, in Friday afternoon's ACC road match.

For the second straight match, freshman Alexander Chieffalo forced a third set. He won the first set in fifth singles before Duke's Ryan Dickerson took the 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6) victory.

The Blue Devils (10-6, 3-2 ACC) also earned the doubles point. Senior Aidan McNulty and junior Kent Mukai made it 5-5 in third doubles. However, the match went unfinished because Duke won first and second doubles.

BC fell to 3-8 overall and 0-3 in ACC play.

The Eagles will complete their road trip at Virginia Tech on Sunday at 12 p.m.
