No. 16 Men's Tennis Falls to No. 9 Duke in ACC Championship

CARY, N.C. – The No. 16 Boston College men's tennis team (5-15, 0-14 ACC) fell 4-0 to No. 9 Duke at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Championships at Cary Tennis Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles struck first as the duo of Luke Levanat and Matvey Greschner secured a 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles. The Blue Devils came back, securing a win at No. 3 doubles against Matthew Carioscia and Liam O'Leary. Coming down to the final match, Aidan Pack and Matthew Overvelde fought hard, going into a tiebreak set before ultimately falling, 7-6 (7-4).

Duke tallied three straight-set singles victories to clinch the match, 4-0. Three Eagles had matches that remained unfinished at the time of the clinch, including Matthew Overvelde who split sets at No. 4 singles, and Luke Levanat who narrowly missed a first set victory.
