CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College, IMG College and the Financial Exchange Radio Network are proud to announce that eight baseball games will air on the radio in 2017. The Eagles' "Game of the Week" will air on Boston's 102.9 FM and 1120 AM starting with the matchup against seventh-ranked Clemson on March 25. All games will also stream on MoneyMattersBoston.com.
"We are very excited to have some of our baseball games broadcast to the public," head coach Mike Gambino said. "Our fans have been eager to find more ways to follow the team and we are thrilled that Boston College and IMG found a way to bring the high-caliber play of the Atlantic Coast Conference into their homes."
The remaining Saturday conference games will also be heard on air (weather permitting): Clemson (March 25), at Virginia Tech (April 1), North Carolina (April 8), NC State at Fenway Park (April 22), Miami (April 29), at Wake Forest (May 6), Quinnipiac (May 13) and Notre Dame (May 20).
"BC opened quite a few eyes last year with the great run it made through the NCAA Tournament," said Jason Wolfe, The Financial Exchange Radio Network media and marketing strategist. "It will be a pleasure to follow the team again this year with hopes of a repeat performance."
"We are excited to help coordinate the radio broadcasts for BC baseball this season," said IMG general manager Mike Winn. "There are a lot of great things happening with the team and we look to expand the relationship in future years."
The Eagles return to action with a 3 p.m. matchup at Northeastern on Tuesday, March 21.
