- DiEmmanuele led off the game with a double and stole second. Junior Chloe Sharabba hit a single and advanced to second on the throw, scoring DiEmmanuele. Freshman Jules Trevino singled through the right side to give BC a 2-0 lead in the top of the first.
- Houston's Shelby Miller hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first to tie the game, 2-2.
- After scoring two runs in the second, the Cougars packed on three more runs with a five-hit inning in the fifth.
- Chimento hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning, but Houston closed out the victory.

- Sharabba and Cortez each recorded a solo home run to give BC a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
- Senior Taylor Coroneos opened the bottom of the third with a single. DiEmmanuele followed with one to advance Coroneos to second. Sharabba reached base safely on a fielder's choice. Coroneos scored on a rundown attempt against Sharabba, giving BC a 3-1 lead.
- Murphy walked, setting the stage for Chimento's three-run homer.
- Dreswick allowed only two runs in a complete-game effort, going 2-0 in the series.
