BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Emma Guy notched her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds. She connected five of 10 attempts from the floor.
- Sophomore Emma Guy opened the Eagles' scoreboard, scoring six points before Maine held BC to a five-minute scoreless drought. This was broken by a Taylor Ortlepp lay-up, but Maine was up, 15-8, at this time and the Eagles could not close the gap.
- The Black Bears hit their stride quickly with an 8-0 run to open the second quarter until a dime from Andie Anastos gave Emma Guy the opportunity to break it up. Maine, however, outscored the Eagles in this quarter, scoring 12 to BC's seven. The teams went into the locker room with the Eagles trailing, 29-20.
- Andie Anastos and Georgia Pineau were the only BC players to get on the board with two points apiece in the third quarter, leaving the Eagles at a 53-26 disadvantage that the Eagles could not combat.
