Seven student-athletes will join BC softball next year
Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College softball head coach Ashley Obrest has announced the Eagles' incoming Class of 2022.

The seven players who make up the class signed their National Letter of Intent and will arrive at The Heights in the fall to begin play with the Eagles in the spring of 2019.

Obrest's signing class includes:
"We are so excited to welcome the next class of Eagles to The Heights!" Obrest said. "The 2018 class brings a combination of all aspects of the game- pitching, catching, power, speed, and defense."Â

"Camryn and Susannah will provide the pitching. Gianna will provide the catching and power. Ellie will provide speed. Carlie, Maddison, and Kristin will provide the versatility on defense along with power on the offensive side."

Anderson was named All-Conference as a freshman, sophomore and junior … All-Met Honorable mention as sophomore and junior ... named Team MVP as sophomore and junior … served as team captain … batted .527 with 33 RBIs and four home runs and recorded 158K's and a 1.6 ERA as a freshman in the Northern VA Conference … recorded a .508 batting average with 35 RBIs and six home runs and struck out 133 batters with a 1.9 ERA during her sophomore year … had a .579 batting average and .921 slugging percentage while striking out 160 batters in 132 innings with a 1.6 ERA … Pitched for NJ Intensity from 2016-18 … Led 18U KOD Premier National team to top 10 finish at PGF National Championship … Susannah is the daughter of Bilyana and Chris Anderson … has an older brother Sean and younger sister Scarlet … will enroll in Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences as a Communications major.
