Junior picks up his first-ever three-goal game in the road victory.
BOSTON - Simon Enstrom notched his first-ever hat trick on Tuesday night, leading the Boston College men's soccer team to a 3-1 win at Harvard.
The junior got the scoring going for Boston College (4-8-0) in the 17th minute, snapping his personal seven-game scoreless streak while putting the Eagles on top of Harvard (2-7-2). He added his second goal in the 36th minute, then converted in the 61st as his substitute stood at midfield waiting to check into the game.
Younes Boudadi and Adam French each recorded two assists, while Callum Johnson had the game's other assist.
Antonio Chavez Borrelli made one save in the victory, with a 76th-minute Harvard penalty kick ending his shutout bid. The victory stopped BC's winless run at four games.
Boston College returns to action on Friday, Oct. 13, when the team hosts Syracuse at the Newton Campus Fields. Kickoff is set for 46 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, which can be accessed on WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 17' | BC GOAL – As the Eagles moved into the attacking end, Callum Johnson knocked the ball wide to Boudadi on the right wing. Boudadi sent a quick cross in and connected with Simon Enstrom, who just re-directed it in through a small gap between the post and goalkeeper Kyle Parks
- 25' | After Beto Luna drew a free kick, Johnson's service found Luna in the six-yard box, but his flicked-on header was right at Parks for the easy save.
- 31' | Enstrom and Adam French broke in on the Crimson defense and French laid off to Enstrom coming down the right center channel. He launched a shot from distance, but it dipped to late and was just high of Parks' goal.
- 34' | Harvard thought they had scored the equalizer through Paolo Belloni-Urso, but when he got on the end of Christian Sady's lofted cross, he was offside and his headed goal was waved off.
- 36' | BC GOAL – With the Crimson pressuring in their end, the Eagles got the clear and Adam French side-footed a longer clearance out past the midfield line. It curled into the path of an on-rushing Enstrom, who broke in on the one-on-one with the keeper and scored with a shot between his legs.
- 55' | Johnson broke up the Crimson's break in the midfield and turned it around the other way. Enstrom received the ball at the top of the area, cut across and put a side-footed shot on Parks, who made the save. The rebound popped out for French on the doorstep, but a Harvard defender got enough of the ball to disrupt his shot from in close.
- 61' | BC GOAL - Boudadi collected the ball on the wing and played it ahead where French deadened it as Boudadi continued his run. Boudadi then ran on and whipped a cross in toward the edge of the six-yard box, and Enstrom rose up and headed it in high past Parks for the 3-0 lead.
- 69' | The Eagles were awarded possession and Boudadi stepped up for the throw in. He found Ian Buehler on the near side of the penalty area, who sent a quick cross into the mixer. Tommy Garcia-Morillo rose up and met the feed, but his flicked header was just wide of Parks' goal.
- 76' | HARV GOAL - With Harvard getting some pressure in the Eagles' attacking end, Sady threw a hard shot on goal. Mohammed Moro blocked it eight yards out, but it kicked off his arm and the referee awarded a penalty kick. Sady stepped up and converted, pulling the Crimson within two goals.
- 88' | Sady whipped in a free kick from wide right on the flank, and the defense got a partial clear on the ball. Cesar Farias got to the rebound, but his follow-up was blocked by his own teammate in the six-yard box, allowing the Eagles to clear.
- 90' | Sady gave Harvard one last chance, sending in another free kick from the right wing. But his service was on target and Chavez Borrelli came out to intercept it in traffic.
