GOAL DESCRIPTIONS
FIRST GOAL (1-0 – BU) SECOND PERIOD – Patrick Curry – 7:26 – POWER PLAY
• The Boston College penalty kill did a great job keeping the puck out of the Terriers' hands for the duration of BU's first power play, but Kieffer Bellows stripped the puck in BC's end for the heads up play. Bellows jarred the puck loose from Austin Cangelosi and connected with Patrick Harper in the right slot. With one second left in the power play, Curry ripped it past Joseph Woll at 7:26 for the power play goal and a 1-0 lead.
SECOND GOAL (2-0 – BU) THIRD PERIOD – Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson – 19:02 – POWER PLAY
• Boston University cashed in on its 5-on-3 opportunity late in the third after Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson capped off a pass from Clayton Keller. Jordan Greenway charged down the middle and passed back to Keller along the blue line. Keller found Forsbacka on the near post and connected for the quick one timer at 19:02 to take a late 2-0 lead.
THIRD GOAL (3-0 – BU) THIRD PERIOD – Bobo Carpenter – 19:46 – POWER PLAY
• Bobo Carpenter capped off the scoring with an empty netter with 14 seconds to play. Greenway broke up a BC possession in the Terriers' end and scooted the puck up to Carpenter already in flight. Carpenter skated it the distance and to the back of the net to cap a 3-0 Terriers win.
