- Colin White scored his team-leading 11th goal, including his sixth power play goal of the season. Upon completion of the game, White is one of 18 players in college hockey to have scored six or more power play goals.
- Boston College has not lost at Agganis Arena since Nov. 30, 2012. Since then, the Eagles were 2-0-1 before Friday night's setback.
GOAL DESCRIPTIONS
FIRST GOAL (1-0 – BU) SECOND PERIOD – Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson – 3:47 – EVEN STRENGTH
• The Terriers struck first after 23:47 of scoreless hockey. Brandon Hickey cycled the puck out of the corner, up to Dante Fabbro within the left side of the blue line. Fabbro let a slap shot loose into traffic and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson tipped the laser past BC netminder Joseph Woll at 3:47 to take a 1-0 lead.
SECOND GOAL (1-1 – BC) SECOND PERIOD – Colin White – 5:02 – POWER PLAY
• Patrick Curry took a tripping call at 5:02 of the second and Colin White made the Terriers pay 13 seconds later at 5:15 of the second period. The Eagles crafted a tic-tac-toe play, quarterbacked by Scott Savage on the right side of the zone. Savage drew his defender and connected with Matthew Gaudreau on the left circle. Gaudreau carved the penalty kill with a pass to Casey Fitzgerald on the right post. C. Fitzgerald made the extra pass to White on the opposite post for the easy power play tap in to knot the score, 1-1.
THIRD GOAL (1-1 – BC) SECOND PERIOD – Clayton Keller – 7:10 – EVEN STRENGTH
• Boston University recouped the one-goal lead less than minutes later after Jordan Greenway stripped the Eagles clearing attempt and turned into a 2-1 Terrier advantage. Greenway won a battle in the corner as Boston College attempted to get it out of the zone and Clayton Keller swooped in for the kill. Greenway looped around Woll and connected with Keller on the doorstep at 7:10 of the second period.
