2016 Football Theme Days Announced

The theme days have been announced by Boston College Athletics for the 2016 home football season, which features homes games against 2015 National Champion runner-up Clemson, ACC rivals Syracuse and Louisville, as well as Connecticut, Buffalo and Wagner.

Single-game prices start as low as $15 and group tickets as low as $5 for select games. New for 2016: all group leaders will be eligible for concessions discount cards for their groups.
Saturday, Sept. 24 vs. Wagner: SPIRIT DAY When the Eagles take on Wagner for the first time in program history, high school and youth bands and cheerleading teams throughout the region will be invited to take part in the day's festivities including the Eagle Walk, FanFest and other special activities.
Saturday, Oct. 1 vs. Buffalo: PARENTS' WEEKEND Join the Eagles for Parents' Weekend, a University tradition that allows families to celebrate all that makes the BC experience unlike any other. Highlights of the weekend will include the Pops on the Heights Scholarship Gala on Friday night and the parents' pregame barbecue prior to the BC vs. Buffalo football game on Saturday. Ticket information for the Pops on the Heights concert will be posted on bc.edu/parentsweekend as it becomes available.
Friday, Oct. 7 vs. Clemson: SERVICE DAY Throughout the game against the Clemson Tigers, Boston College will celebrate many of the groups and individuals throughout the BC community who go above and beyond when it comes to the University's mission of Men and Women for Others.
Saturday, Oct. 22 vs. Syracuse: HOMECOMING; LUKE KUECHLY JERSEY RETIREMENT After a successful return of Homecoming to The Heights the last three years, Homecoming 2016 will kick off with Spirit Week on Oct. 16 and will culminate when the Eagles take on the Syracuse Orange. Former Eagle linebacker Luke Kuechly will have his jersey retired at halftime.
Saturday, Nov.5 vs. Louisville: MILITARY DAY
Another annual tradition at Boston College celebrates Military Day at The Heights. A special ticket match program is available in which every group ticket purchased and donated to military members and their families will be matched with a ticket donation to military members and their families from Boston College.
Saturday, Nov. 19 vs. Connecticut: YOUTH & HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL DAY; MATT RYAN JERSEY RETIREMENT
All local youth football and high school teams are invited to take advantage of group sale pricing and cheer on the Eagles on Senior Day. There will be special group offerings including team challenges at Fanfest and VIP experience for those groups with the most members in attendance. Former Eagle quarterback Matt Ryan will have his jersey retired at halftime.
