Childree Wins on Court 6 Against No. 1 UNC

Tar Heels defeat the Eagles, 6-1, at the Flynn Complex
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 1 ranked North Carolina men's tennis team defeated Boston College, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex. Kyle Childree won the Eagles' lone match at the No. 6 singles spot as the Tar Heels won in straight sets on the first five singles courts.
UNC (22-4, 7-3 ACC) started the match by taking the doubles point. The nation's No. 1 ranked tandem of Brett Clark and Robert Kelly topped Childree and Workman, 6-2, before Anudeep Kodali and Ronnie Schneider defeated Alexandre Thirouin and Aidan McNulty, 6-3 on the No. 2 court.
In singles four nationally-ranked Tar Heels won in straight sets against the Eagles on courts one through four. Childree's win on the No. 6 court came in three sets, with the senior taking the third-set tiebreak 10-1.
The Eagles (6-15, 0-10 ACC) return to the court on Friday, April 15, when the travel to face Louisville at 4 p.m.
