- Senior Jessie Daulton was 3-of-3 at the plate, with a home run, three RBI's and two runs scored.Â
- Junior Tatiana Cortez hit a home run for the second consecutive game. She went 1-of-2 at the plate with three RBI's.Â
- Sophomore Chloe Sharabba hit her first home run of the season. She was 2-of-3 at the plate with one RBI and two runs scored.Â
- Freshman Loren DiEmmanuele picked up her team-leading ninth stolen base of the season.
TURNING POINT
- Boston College hit three home runs in the top of the first to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles wasted no time getting going, beginning the top of the first inning with the first five batters all collecting hits. Daulton, Sharabba and Cortez all went yard, helping stamp the team to an early 6-0 lead.
- Boston College added three more in the top of the fourth. Daulton singled up the middle, scoring DiEmmanuele, before coming around to score later in the inning due to a fielder's choice. Sophomore Jordan Chimento would bring home the third, courtesy of a single to right field.Â
